This Privacy Policy explains how GW Marketing Limited trading as myWAPA (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use the myWAPA personal assistant service operated through WhatsApp (the “Service”).

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

• Account information: name, phone number, and email address provided when signing up or contacting us.
• Chat content: the messages, tasks, and attachments you send to your personal assistant through WhatsApp.
• Profile media: photos you optionally upload to generate an AI avatar.
• Usage data: anonymised analytics about how the Service is used to help us improve it.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• To complete tasks you request, such as bookings or reminders.
• To communicate with you about your account or support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with trusted service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting and AI providers), and only where necessary and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

5. Google user data

If you ask your personal assistant to work with your calendar, you can connect your Google Account. This section explains exactly what Google user data we access and how we handle it.

How we process it: Google Calendar data is processed via the Anthropic Claude API solely to provide the assistant's functionality, under commercial terms that prohibit its use for model training, with automatic deletion within 30 days; it is never sold, never used to train any AI model, and never shared with any other third party.

What we access: with your explicit permission via Google’s OAuth consent screen, we access your Google Calendar data — including your calendar list, event titles, descriptions, dates and times, attendees, and locations — and your basic Google profile information (name and email address) used to identify your connected account.

Why we access it: solely to provide the Service — to read your availability, create, update, and delete calendar events at your request, and to send you reminders and scheduling assistance through WhatsApp. We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Service.

Where it is stored: Google Calendar data is processed on our secure cloud servers and is not stored long-term beyond what is needed to fulfil your requests. We store only your Google account email and OAuth refresh token (encrypted) so your connection stays active until you disconnect it.

How long we keep it: we retain your Google connection credentials for as long as your Google account is connected, and delete them immediately when you disconnect. We do not retain copies of your calendar events beyond the active conversation context needed to serve you.

Sharing: we do not sell, rent, or share Google user data with third parties. Google user data is processed only by the infrastructure providers required to operate the Service and is never used to train generalised AI models.

How to disconnect and delete it: you can disconnect Google Calendar at any time by sending “disconnect my calendar” to your personal assistant, or by revoking access from your Google Account permissions page. To delete all associated data, send “delete my data” or email us and we will delete your Google connection credentials and any related data within 30 days.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your data at any time by sending “delete my data” to your personal assistant or by emailing us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website.
